Megan started riding as a young child. Her mother also grew up riding and this inspired Megan to begin her career in the equine world. She now has over 20 years of experience in the equestrian world. Megan competes in both Hunter-Jumpers and 3-Day Eventing. She has also completed level I in dressage and is training in level II. Megan believes that safety comes first, both on and off the horse. Megan uses safe and effective teaching methods whether the rider is a beginner or advanced student. Megan applies the same safe and effective training methods to horse training. These methods allow Megan to train an unbroken horse or give a seasoned horse a 'tune-up'. She takes her continuing education seriously and embraces the opportunity to learn. Megan currently takes weekly lessons, clinics with top professional riders, and competes in horse shows.
Rebecca Cook (Becca) Barn Manager/Instructor
Fostering the rider in you.
Becca began her lifelong equine journey as a young child. She began devoting her time as a student worker earning riding time each week. By the age of 14, she was showing consignment horses at the Jr. level for both local shows and NIHJA. Becca trained with very influential trainers and from them she developed the philosophy; "Equitation is what separates you from being a passenger to a rider." Becca began instructing at the age of 23 while advancing in her accomplished show career. Becca took a break from the show world and now focuses her attention in sharing her passion to horse lovers and inspiring riders. Becca's calm patient approach in her teaching encourages riders from the very enthusiastic to the motivated, weary rider.
"It's watching the growth and the smiles on the students' faces that make me love my job"
